Running a Task in Table mode
For more information about the controls used in FieldLogs, read Controls.
In the Table mode, you can see all the Steps of the Tasks as a continuous list. You can scroll down to navigate through the Steps for a long Task.
Note that the Map modes and Table modes are merged on tablets as shown below.

To run a Task in Table mode:
From the , tap or open the contextual menu and tap .

If Doco mode is the default mode, tap
to go to Table mode.
Perform the actions or enter an answer in each Step.
Note
Mandatory Step
indicates that an answer is mandatory. FieldLogs displays a message if you tap on the
on the right:
Blocking Step
An exclamation mark
indicates that you cannot answer the other Steps before this section is complete.Expanding or Collapsing a section
To collapse a section, tap on
.Tap on
again to expand the section.

When the Step is validated, Step conditions may take effect.
Note
A Template can contain conditions. When you validate a Step that contains a condition, Steps can be displayed, locked or deactivated, depending on whether the conditions (role, answer, etc.) are met.
If appears, tap it to validate sections of the Template. Once the Step is validated, the next Step in the Task appears.
When you complete the Task, tap

The user can perform the following actions in the Table mode:

to see a summary of all the answers.

Tap Timeline
to see a summary of all the answers in chronological order.

Progress
Task Progress
displays a breakdown of the total time spent on a Task. The time is shown in hours, minutes, and seconds.

The Navigation
panel provides quick actions to view hints, jump between answers or levels, search within the Task, and control Task execution.
