Glossary
Here are a few terms that you will meet throughout this documentation.

An access right is a rule that defines the level of access to a securable object.
Baseline
Initial version of a reference manual that serves as a base for upcoming manual screening
Documentation bundle*
Container for a new revision of documentation, created with the intent to be pushed for screening via a managed process.
Documentation type
Set of information that describes a manual to indicate to the system how to process it.
Enterprise*
An enterprise is the members, data and application configuration of a business organized in a hierarchy.
Group
A group is a structuring element of the enterprise that gathers members in a given hierarchical position. The organization of your groups constitute the hierarchy of the enterprise.

.Hierarchy
The hierarchy is a tree-based representation of a business organisation, where users' position define what they can or cannot access in an enterprise. The hierarchy is made of groups.

.Hit
Changes in a new revision of the documentation detected by the screening process.
Inbox*
Section where members see their tasks.
Job*
A job is the collection of all the actions and data collected during the execution of a task, by one or several members.
When you run a task, you create a job.
Lifecycle*
A lifecycle is the definition of the template publication process.
You can create lifecycles in the section

A member is a user of FieldLogs.
You can create members in the section
.Planning*
Section where members can assign tasks and manage projects.
Project*
A project is a package of members, task queues and other resources with a starting and an end date in the scope of which members can assign, execute and follow tasks.
You can set up a project in the section
.Reference manual
Manual uploaded in the system.
Resource set*
A resource set is a package of map overlays and/or templates that help the users to perform the tasks assigned to them in the scope of a project.
You can create a resource set when you create a project.
Role*
A role is a set of user attributes that define the access to interface elements, data and/or actions in FieldLogs. You can assign one or more roles to a member.

.Routing table
Definition of the dispatching of impacts among individuals within the organization to perform the manual screening
Screener
Member who have the ability and authorization to perform screening.
Screening
Activity of detection and management of the modifications between two revisions of a document.
Securable object
A securable object is a key element of the internal data structure or of the graphical interface of FieldLogs (section, job, template, object) to which a specific access right is given in the context of a role.
Security rule
A security rule is the combination of a securable object and an access right.
Style
The style is a set of functionalities that allow to customize an enterprise.

Category and subcategory for templates organization.
Task*
A task is a work instruction usually associated to a template and assigned to one or more members.
You can create a task in the section

A task queue is a logical member-based group in which members can pick up and/or assign tasks. When you assign a task to a task queue, anyone in the task queue who has the permission to pick up can run the task.

A template is a set of instructions and/or questions, structured in steps, that the member must perform/answer, depending on the design. A task is usually based on a template.

A template DB is a repository in which templates are published.

A user set is a group of members defined by their hierarchy, their group and/or their role.
