Archiving a Task

If you want to clean up any incorrect data in a Template that is assigned to the Queue, you can Archive a Task.

Archiving a Task does the following:

  • A live Task can be Archived. Data cannot be acquired on the Archived Task.

  • Removes the Task from the Inbox of the Assignee.

Important

To Archive a Task, you need to have a role with the security rule Special Rights - Archive Tasks.

Tip

You can also Archive a Task from the section Tasks and Inbox .

To Archive a Task from the Planning section:

  1. On the main menu, go to Planning > Planning

    The section Planning opens.

  2. Select the Task to be Archived from the Task list as shown below.

  3. Click the dropdown to display the list of options.

  4. Click Archive.

    A confirmation window opens.

  5. Click Archive.

  6. Click Yes, I'm sure.

  7. [Optional] Add Additional comment if required.

  8. Click Archive.

    The Task is Archived and deleted from the Queue.
