Effectivity

Using this option, the Template Author can control the behavior of the Step based on a condition.

Action

The desired behavior is selected from the three options available in the Action dropdown list.

  1. Enable: Step will be visible but no action can be performed in case the condition is not satisfied.

  2. Display: Step will be invisible in case the condition is not satisfied.

  3. Read Only: Inputs will be disabled, but the Step can still be validated. Scripts or default values can still pre-fill some information.

Type

The type of condition is selected from the Type dropdown list. Based on the type of condition chosen, further options are displayed to set the condition.

SettingUpAStepEffectivity.png

To apply Effectivity to a Template, see Applying Effectivity.

Role conditioned

Using this option, the Template Author can control the behavior of the Step based on a role of the user.

Roles

One or more Roles can be selected using the dropdown list Roles.

SettingUpAStepRoleConditioned.png

To define Role conditioned access on a Template, see Defining Role conditioned access.

Result Set

You can enable this option to store and compute the Step answers for Result Sets. During the execution of the Tasks, the user input values for the Steps are stored.

ResultSet.png

When a Task is paused or completed, a Result Set is generated with the Step Values. The values of the elements in a Result Set are dynamically updated.

Score

You can set a Score for each Step. You can also set a Score for the completion of the full Template in the Template Information Editor.
