Using the Process Dashboard
The system creates an internal process for every:
Template Edition
Incident Resolution
Document Approval
Information pertaining to the progress, i.e., the transition through the different stages of the selected Lifecycle is also recorded. This information can be accessed using the Process Dashboard.
The Process Dashboard provides a comprehensive view of:
All the Templates in Edition
All Incidents under Resolution
All Documents under Approval
The Process Dashboard has a search option that allows you to filter the Processes.

The search criteria are explained below:

1 | Type | Search for Processes based on the following Process type.

2 | Process id | Search for a Process based on the Process id. | |
3 | Last Updated Date | Search for Processes that have been updated between a date window. | |
4 | Template | Search for Processes based on the Template name. | |
5 | Goal | Search for Processes based on the Edition Goal. | |
6 | All Status | Search for Processes based on the Process status. | |
7 | All Tasks | Search for Processes based on the Tasks involved in the Process. |
Specifying the search criteria and clicking displays the results.

The number of Processes returned by the search is specified in the loaded field. In the below example, loaded 50 (95) indicates that there are a total of 95 results, out of which 50 are displayed below. The user can scroll down to see all the results.

When a Process is selected from the list, the details of the Process are displayed as shown below.

The following details are displayed:
A Process Diagram that depicts the Custom Lifecycle selected for the Process.
Note
Process Diagrams are not displayed for Processes that use a Standard Lifecycle.
The Process Map which includes a Task History and Lifecycle Forms associated with the Process.
Operations that can be performed on the Processes:
To view the operations that can be performed on the Process from the Dashboard, click as highlighted. There are three operations available on all Processes that have not yet been Completed or Terminated.


The three available operations are described below:
Operation | Description | |||

Generate report | Selecting this operation displays the following dialog to generate the Process Flow Report.
The required Report Model must be uploaded in the Report Packages section under the Process Task option as shown below.
This operation can also be performed on the right panel of the Process Dashboard as shown in the image below:
NoteReports can also be generated in PDF/A format. PDF/A is a specialized version of the PDF format designed specifically for long-term digital archiving. Please contact FieldLogs Support to turn on this setting. | |||
Terminate Process | Selecting this operation abruptly terminates the Process. The user is asked for confirmation as seen below.
Here, the Template Edition associated with this Process is aborted. Terminated Processes are indicated by a red Terminated tag as shown below.
WarningThe Termination operation cannot be undone. All versions of the Template published by the Process before Termination are still retained in the system. | |||
Pause Process | Selecting this operation temporarily suspends the Process. This is indicated by an orange Paused tag.
For instance, when the Template Edition Process is paused, the Template Edition cannot progress. Any attempt to progress the Template Edition Process results in a warning as shown below.
NoteThis operation can be undone by selecting on the Paused Task as shown below.

To view the Process Dashboard:
On the main menu, go to Enterprise > Organization > Process Dashboard.
The Process Dashboard appears.
Specify the search criteria and select the Process that needs to be looked up.
The details of the Process appear.
