Audit Logs
An Audit Log compares versions of the same Template and lists the differences detected.
The algorithm for this comparison can be customized using the Template Diff Step Matching Algorithm Definition property in Enterprise Settings.

The Audit Log refers to the compared Template versions as Source and Target versions.
Source Version: The earlier of the two compared versions.
Target Version: The later of the two compared versions.
When comparing versions 5.0 and 6.0, 5.0 is the Source version and 6.0 is the Target version.
An Audit Log is organized into 5 main sections, as highlighted below.

These sections are described below:
List of Difference Types: The complete list of Difference Types that an Audit Log can contain.
Versions being Compared: Lists the Source and Target versions being compared.
When multiple versions are selected for comparison, the Audit Log lists the differences between subsequent versions. In the below example, versions 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, and 9.0 are chosen. The report presents three sets of differences - the first between 6.0 and 7.0. , and the second between 7.0 and 8.0, and the third between 8.0 and 9.0.
Differences in Template Attributes: Lists the differences in Template Attributes between the two versions.
Differences in Step Attributes: Lists the differences in Step Attributes between the two versions.
Differences in Configuration Definition: Lists the differences in Configuration Definition between the two versions.

An Audit Log Report Model must be available in the system to generate reports.
