Using Expand/Collapse buttons
Expand/Collapse buttons are found on Templates having at least two levels of Steps. Using these buttons, you can view a Template at the required depth.
While browsing through long Templates containing several levels of Steps, it might be useful to view all Steps of a certain level at once. The Expand/Collapse buttons can be found in the top right corner of the workspace pane.
The Expand/Collapse buttons are available in all Templates and Templates under Edition.

The Expand/Collapse buttons allow users to Expand/Collapse Steps at any required level in a Template.
In the following example, the Template Maintenance contains Level 3 Steps.

If a Template contains multi-level Steps, it can be expanded at the required level.
When 
Expand lvl 1 clicked, Level 0 and Level 1 Steps are displayed.

When Expand lvl 2 clicked, Level 0, Level 1 and Level 2 Steps are displayed.

When Expand lvl 3 clicked, Level 0, Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Steps are displayed.

In a Template containing multi-level Steps, you can Collapse Steps at the required level.
Note
When you view a Template, the Steps at all Levels are Collapsed by default.
If you Collapse Steps at Level 2, all the Levels deeper than Level 2 (Level 3, Level 4 etc) are automatically collapsed.
In the below example, clicking 
Collapse lvl2 collapses all the Level 2 and Level 3 Steps. Only the Level 1 Steps are displayed.

There is an Enterprise level setting to determine the behaviour of the Expand/Collapse buttons.
To access the setting:
On the main menu, go to Enterprise > Organization > Organization.
The page Enterprise Hierarchy opens.
Go to Settings > Enterprise Style.
Click
Go to the tab .
Select the required option for the setting Default Step Expanded.
This setting determines how the Steps in a Template will be displayed.
The following three options are available:
Yes: All the Steps in the Template will be expanded.
No: All the Steps in the Template will be collapsed.
Default: All the Steps in the Template will be collapsed.

This system records the user preferences for Expanding and Collapsing Steps for individual Templates.
The user preferences for up to 100 Templates are recorded.
Go to Templates > Device settings.
The number of Templates for which the Expand/Collapse preferences are recorded is shown below.
In the example below, the preferences are recorded for two Templates as highlighted.
Click , to default to the Enterprise setting.
