Running a Task in Doco mode
For more information about the controls used in FieldLogs.
Using the Doco mode, the user can view the documentation attached to Task Steps and perform the required action. Once a Step is validated in Doco mode, the subsequent Step appears, and the user can continue with the rest of the Task. The user can also manually swipe left or right to navigate through the Steps of the Task.
Note
If the is Documentation, the Task is in Doco mode when you start the execution of the Task.

The Step that was selected is opened in Doco mode, as shown below.

When you click a child step, any documentation associated with its parent step appears under Contextual Documentation, while the Documentation section continues to show the document linked directly to that child step.
In the below example, Step 4.2 is viewed in Doco mode. Note that the documentation of Step 4 (parent Step) appears as Contextual documentation.

You can view the documentation and enter the values required in the Step.

Mandatory Step
indicates that an answer is mandatory. FieldLogs displays a message if you tap on the
on the right:

Blocking Step
An exclamation mark
indicates that you cannot answer the other steps before this section is complete.
When a Step is validated, Step conditions may take effect.
Note
A Template can contain conditions. When you validate a Step that contains a condition, Steps can be displayed, locked or deactivated, depending on whether the conditions (role, answer, etc.) are met.
If appears, tap it to validate sections of the Template. Once the Step is validated, the next Step in the Task appears.
When you complete the Task, tap

To pause the Task before the end of the Template, go back to Table mode.
Tap the arrow
on the top left to Toggle to Table mode.

Tap the Doco icon to open the document. If you tap any empty area at the same level, the view switches to Doco mode.
