Running a Task
For more information about the controls used in FieldLogs, read Controls.
A Task is a work instruction based on a Template that a planner can assign to one or several members. The Template defines:
The number of Steps.
The organization of the Steps.
The type of Steps.
The type of information that you can or must enter in each Step.
When you run a Template, a Task is created. The Task contains all the data required for the execution of the Task.
To run or continue a Task:
In the Inbox, tap on the required Task. The Contextual menu opens.

Tap Run Task to run a new Task. Tap Continue if the Task is already started.

The Execution Context dialog appears. Select the required Release Package, Part Number, and Configuration. The Task then uses the version of the Template that corresponds to the Manual linked to the selected Release Package.

Tap Run.

A Task can be run in one of the following modes:-
Table mode ( on both tablets and phones)
Doco Mode ( on both tablets and phones)
Map Mode ( only on phones)
