Navigating through the Application

The FieldLogs UI differs depending on the device. This documentation refers to the iPad UI.
The main menu on different devices is shown below.
iPad
To collapse or expand the main menu in the iPad, tap on the Field Logs logo
as indicated below.

iPhone
You can access the main menu on iPhone from the bottom of the screen.

When you tap on any Task in your , a contextual menu opens.

The table below lists the options in the menu and whether they are available on a new and/or started Task.
A new Task is a Task that the assignee has neither viewed nor started.
A Started Task is a Task that the Assignee has started.

Manage | ||||
1. Pickup | Picks up the Task. | Any member with access to the Task Queue can pick up the Task, and you become the assignee. |

2. Run | Runs The Task. | For an Open Queue, Run is available for any new Task. Pickup is automatic. |

3. Continue | Continues a Task that is already started. | Available to all assignee/team members. |
|
|
4. View Template | View the Template of the Task. | Available to all members. |
|
|
5. View Task | View the Task content. | Available to all members. |
|
|
6. Preview Task | Provides a preview of the Task. | Available to all members. |
|
|
7. Report | Generates a Task report that can be downloaded to your device. | Available to all members. |
|
|
8. Raise Incident | Raises an incident from the Task. | Available to all members. |
|
|
9. Locate Task | Shows the starting point of a Task on the map. | Available for all Tasks, whether they are started or not, if a starting point is defined for it. |

1. Share link | Shares the link to the Task. | Available to all members. |

2. Push to my Inbox | Sends the Tasks to your own Inbox. | Available to all members. |

3. Push to the user's Inbox | Sends the Task to the user's Inbox. | Available to all members. |

4. QR Code | Scan the QR Code from another device to access the Task. | Available to all members. |

Task Info | Opens information about the Task. | Available to all members, only if the Task is in the Inbox. |

Task Details | Gives details about the Task. | Available to all members, only if the Task is in the Inbox. |

View Incidents | View Raised Incidents. | Available for any Tasks. Enabled if there are Incidents. |

|
View Redo | Displays all Steps that have been marked for redo and are pending to be done. | Available for started Tasks with Redo. |

View Hints | Hints display the next action list to be performed during the Task Execution. | Available for started Tasks with actions left to do. |

View Result set | View the Result Set of the Task. | Available for started Tasks with Result Sets generated. |

Browse Logs | Helps browse Logs. | Available for started Tasks with Blogs. |

Synchronization | ||||
Mark for offline work | Downloads the data and picks up the Task. | The action is enabled if you are missing data or not the assignee. |

Refresh Task Status | Refresh the information of the Task. | Available to all members, only if the Task is in the Inbox. |

|
Force Data Sync | Refresh the Task information (like above) and force the Task data to refresh. | Available to all members, only if the Task is in the Inbox. |

Edit Task | Open a menu to edit information about the Task. | Available to all members. |
|

Edit Task Details | Open a menu to edit Task details. | Available for Started Tasks. |

Reassign | Assign the Task to another team member or to another queue. | Available to the assignee, team member, or new Task, unless the Task is sealed. |

Bookmark Task | Bookmarks the Task by displaying a star next to the Task. | Bookmark the Task. A star is displayed next to the Task. |

Note
If the Task was just created or is still synchronizing, some options will be unavailable until the synchronization is complete.
