Lifecycle and Action Counter at Runtime - A Walkthrough
When a Lifecycle and Action Counter is activated, Tasks are generated. The Operation Plan can be completed when you perform the Tasks associated with each stage of the Lifecycle.
For example, a Counter of type, Lifecycle and Action is created within the Operation Plan Maintenance and Check.
This Counter is linked to a Lifecycle named Basic Maintenance which has multiple stages as shown below.
There are also several Actions created within the Counter that are associated with different stages of the Lifecycle. In a Lifecycle and Action Counter, each Action can be linked to only one Template.
When the Operation Plan Counter is activated, the first Task Electrical System Diagnostics linked to the first stage of the Lifecycle is generated. The Task generated can be viewed in the Planning section if Visible from Planning is enabled in the Counter.
On the completion of the first Task, two other Tasks Engine Performance Tests and Verify Fuel and Hydraulic Systems associated with the respective stages of the Lifecycle are generated.
Here, an Exclusive Gateway is used in the workflow process, so the completion of any one of the two Tasks generates the next Task, Compressor Value.
During the execution of the process, you can track the progress and view the current position of the Tasks within the entire workflow as shown below.
When all the Tasks are 100 % complete and the status is displayed as Done, the Operation Plan Counter is automatically becomes Inactive as shown below.
