Using the Template Property Pane
The property pane displays information related to the Template or Step. It also provides several tools that you can use to customize your Template.
To access the property pane, click on the Templates page.

The property pane has many tabs. Clicking a tab displays the options in it. To view the entire list of tabs, hover over the icon.

![]() | Execution Preview | Allows you to preview the execution of the Template. Click to run a preview of the Template. | |
![]() | Editor Help | Displays the FieldLogs Help page in the property pane. This helps you access the application and the Help content on the same page. | |
![]() | Documentation Editor | Allows you to attach documentation to a Step. The documentation can provide additional information to the user executing the Template. For more information, see Attaching Documentation to a Step. | |
![]() | Condition Editor | Enables you to define conditions for a Step. For example, when the user meets a set of conditions such as validating a specific Step or choosing a specific answer, the system displays or hides the Steps. For more information, see Using the Condition Editor tab. | |
![]() | Script Editor | Allows you to create scripts that are executed with the Template. Scripts can execute a set of actions in the Template or call third-party services. For information on how to create scripts, see Adding a Script. | |
![]() | Tag Editor | Enables you to add tags to a Step. You can find Steps by their tag. For more information, see Adding Tags to a Step. | |
![]() | Navigation tags | Allows you to add a navigation tag to a Step. When running a job, navigation tags help in navigating quickly to specific Steps. For more information, see Adding navigation tags. | |
![]() | Template versions | This tab is available when the selected Template is published or is in the process of publication. Enables you to manage versions of the selected Template. For more information , see Managing the Versions of a Template. | |
![]() | Variables | Using this tab, you can set variables to be used in Steps or Templates. For more information, see Creating a Variable. | |
![]() | Template translation | Allows you to manage the translation of Templates. For more information, see Translating a Template. | |
![]() | Measurement Points editor | Enables you to monitor or track events such as validation of Steps during job execution. For information on how to set measurement points at the Step or Template level, see Adding Measurement Points. | |
![]() | Search into this Template | Using this tab, you can search for specific content in the entire Template. | |
![]() | Reference manuals | This tab is available for enterprises with the documentation bundle module activated. Allows you to generate Templates or Steps from a reference manual. You can upload the reference manuals in the Documentation Bundle section. For more information, see Generating a Template from a Reference Manual. | |
![]() | Template feedback creation | Allows you to create feedback for the Template. For information on how to add feedback, see Submitting a Template Feedback as a Template Author. | |
