Desired Candidate Profile
We are looking for two aerospace engineer interns to truly digitalize our customer processes.
You will work with companies like Iberia, SR Technics, Amazon Robotics, MTU Aero Engines, Spirit Aero, Endeavor Air, Allegiant Air, GA Telesis and others, almost all internationally based.
You enjoy the challenge of being exposed to different situations, company cultures, aviation or robotics domains, and technologies you must master quickly. You’ll leverage your analytical intellect, drive, and professional skills to help our customers implement our solutions. You want to grow quickly.
English is company’s language.
Exposure to these areas is a plus:
- MRO and Tech Data (AMM, ESM, etc.),
- Part CAMO, Part 145, and Technical documentation (AMM, SB, ESM, etc.)
- Software, web/app development,
- Scripting (Python, HTML, JavaScript, Freemarker, iText).
Internship summary:
For a 6-month period, you will get to be a full member of a project team with one of these customers and dive into software implementation. You will:
- Work closely with the R&D Team to document and ‘sponsor’ new feature enhancements as they get prioritized all the way to customer acceptance.
- Build specifications by communicating with the Customer to understand the needs and coordinate with the R&D team.
- Support Customers on issues, questions, and requirements using our ticket management system.
- Identify the pain points of Customer processes where Fieldlogs can provide an added value.
- Digitize customer data in accordance with Software and process gold standards.
- Participate in daily/weekly project management meeting.
- Continuously learning about the new features and capabilities we are rapidly fielding in our solution.
- Develop online training material (User guide, screencast)
Successful internships usually lead to permanent position offers with a wide range of France based and international options. We may sponsor French work permits for very successful and motivated interns.
Your qualifications
- (Aerospace) Science/Engineering education track: bachelor’s or master’s degree (3rd year French “Grande Ecoles”) and a good command of English is required.
